United Way Partners are essential in our work in community mobilizition and creating life-long changes in our communities. Agencies, funders, donors, and volunteers are all part of the change that is needed to make a difference in our communities in Education, Income, and Health.

Becoming a Partner Agency

United Way of Sumter, Clarendon and Lee Counties has established partnerships with health and human service agencies that address human needs in the community and meet certain organizational standards.

United Way partnership does not guarantee funding, but certified partner agencies are eligible to submit proposals for funding. There are other benefits in being a certified partner including:
  • Agency listing on community campaign materials.
  • Agency listing in our brochures and Annual Report.
  • Agency participation in impact strategies and volunteer opportunities.
