United Way is currently serving to connect volunteers to Disaster Relief efforts. The recovery efforts from this disaster will be longterm.  If you would like to volunteer with United Way or receive asistance with volunteer placement in the community, please contact United Way at (803)773-7935.

United Way Diamonds continues to seek opportunities to partner with the community promoting positive change in the youth served.  Our Men's Day Wednesday program is looking for male volunteers to visit a local school one Wednesday a month for a few hours during the school year.  Our male volunteers mentor small groups of teens, meet and greet students in the hallways, and shake hands when passing.  Men's Day Wednesday volunteers are a positive influence that students can look up to and relate to.  If you want to be a role model in your community, and you are interested in having a significant and positive effect on a child's life, then this program is for you!
